REACTION PROJECT

LPE is proud to announce that LPE is among the 27 partners of the project “First and European SiC eight Inches pilot line” (REACTION) part of the Call: H2020-ECSEL-2017-1-IA-two stage. The scope of the project is to establishing the first 200mm SiC Pilot Line in the world and developing the most innovative and cost competitive technology, with applications like smart energy smart mobility and industrial ones. It will allow meeting the more and more increasing demand of requirements in terms of quality and cost constraint for next decade generation’s power electronics.
Lpe’s role is to design and manufacture a new 200mm SiC epitaxial reactor for production application along with an advanced epitaxial process to satisfy the stringent product requirements.
